Its show OVO, is a fast-paced colourful expression on the theme of ecosystem, OVO meaning “egg” in Portuguese. 50 artists from 14 countries are performing, animating insects working, eating, flying and looking for love. The Cirque Du Soleil will be hosted by the 3 Arena from the 11th of October to the 20th. You can buy your ticket online here.

DublinTown Food & Drink Festival promise one week of events that highlight the amazing food and drink the city has to offers. Many restaurants, cafés and bar are taking part in this first edition, offering special dinners evenings, tastings and masterclass. You can have a look at all the 50 participants and the many events on the festival website. DublinTown Food & Drink Festival will run from the 15th to the 21st of October.

      WO IFI Horrorthon Nightmare Cinema 2 1200x600 150x150 whats onAddressing all horror movie buff, the IFI Horrorthon is back with a new programme packed with international short films, Irish premiere and special guests. The festival is organised by the Irish Film Institute and runs from the 25th to the 29th of October.     • Bram Stoker Festival

The seventh edition takes place from Friday 26th of October to Monday 29th of October. The festival has a gothically inspired programme including the famous Macnas parade, Dracula’s Disco, Creature Features at the Botanic Garden and many more workshops, theatre, tours and live music.
