Located in the heart of the city and at a cultural crossroads, The Green is conveniently located, comfortable and has been welcoming many locals and international guests alike for many years. Times are changing and so is Dublin and that is why The Green has just completed a refurbishment and has a fresh new look and identity for this city centre hotel. The bar and restaurant area have been transformed into a welcoming and sophisticated space by London based architect Bryan O’Sullivan Studio.
The restaurant has recently opened its doors for lunch. Chef Krys has created a diverse menu with something to love for everyone. The menu has variety of salads and sandwiches, from meat and fish to vegetarian and vegan. On the pictures below, from left to right you see the chicken salad, the Mario sandwich, and the couscous and avocado salad. Of course, the team at the head office was very excited to try out all these delicious items of the new menu, which is why a team lunch at The Green has been organised. Everybody was very excited about the food and had a great time trying all the dishes.
The tapas menu is diverse and different from any tapas menus you have ever seen before. To create the tapas menu, head chef Krys, who has spent time working with international chefs in different countries, has taken inspiration from his travels around the Mediterranean with some added influence from Asian Flavours
On the left of the pictures below you see our chef creating the scallops tapas and, in the middle, the kataifi wrapped prawn is beautifully served. On the right, a delicious selection of our tapas, with a mini pork burger, again the scallops, beef cheek croquettes, and prawn and ham spring rolls.
We are all very excited about the new restaurant and menu as well as about serving all our guests. The Green welcomes both guests and locals alike for a quick lunch, evening meal or a few drinks. See you soon at The Green!
